Those who have lived in Moscow for a long time are likely to associate the name Bocconcino with the restaurant of the same name in the Russian capital, or rather with a whole chain of pizzerias. And this is no accident. The first Italian restaurant Bocconcino was opened in 2006 by the famous restaurateur Mikhail Gochner. The success that followed prompted the entrepreneur and his team to think about expanding to the West. Thus, 2014 saw the opening of Bocconcino in London's Mayfair neighbourhood. Surprisingly, despite the central location, the prices at Mr Gochner's restaurant are quite affordable, and the quality of the food and interior are up to the standards of the British capital's luxury district.
