Michael (Mikhail) Gokhner is a renowned restaurateur and developer, owner of a series of popular establishments. He founded Moscow's first steakhouse, El Gaucho, which opened 25 years ago and has since become one of the city’s oldest and most respected meat steakhouses. His success was recognised by Forbes magazine, which included El Gaucho in the top 10 most successful restaurants. Additionally, Mikhail is the founder of the Italian restaurants Bocconcino, which boasts seven establishments in Russia, as well as successful venues in the fashionable areas of Mayfair and Soho in London. He is currently preparing to open another establishment in Covent Garden.
Among his other successful projects are the restaurants "Na Melnitse", "Shtolnya", "Ginger", "Villa", and "Michael's", each contributing to the unique gastronomic landscape of Moscow. His chain of Bocconcino restaurants has become legendary, earning acclaim for the quality and originality of its cuisine. Beyond managing El Gaucho and Bocconcino successfully, Mikhail has also launched the seafood restaurant Lucky Fish, which adds variety to his culinary portfolio.
